As our ideal Production Manager…

· You hold yourself and your production team accountable , You lead your production team to consistently exceed customers print requests with quality, accuracy and on time delivery.

· Your commitment sets the standard. You show up every day, to lead and manage your team and complete all print requests from start to finish.

· You are a planner who schedules our daily production activities making sure we have the Right People, equipment and supplies in place.

· You communicate directly and efficiently, with all team members, customers and vendors.

For over 30 years Blueboy have always worked hard and pulled together as a team. We're looking for a Production Manager we can depend on - someone who consistently performs at a high level, understands Print Production Management and can guide our Production Department to success.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage daily production workflow to ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

· Monitor job schedules to track progress against deadlines and communicate with your production team and the Customer Service Manager.

· Improve and accurately follow our production workflow processes.

· Hold your team accountable by addressing performance issues in real time.

· Train and develop production team on proper procedures and equipment use

· Properly maintain production equipment and inventory

Provide overall leadership and management to Production Team

· Lead, Manage and hold Accountable the production team and ensure they are delivering high quality service to our customers

· Collaborate with our Customer Service Manager on customer’s print request and deadlines

· Submit weekly Production Mangers Reports

· Lead and Manage your Production Team by coaching and conducting 1:1 conversations and daily production team huddles.

· Develop and monitor production team goals and metrics

Quality Control and Customer Service

· Perform regular quality control checks at key stages of the production process to minimize errors

· Communicate with Customer Service with accurate forecasting of job completion times

This is a full-time, working in production and operating production equipment role based in North East (NOMA) - Washington, DC.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

· 5+ years of Print Production Management and experience in successfully leading teams

· 5+ years of relevant experience in the digital print industry

· Working Knowledge of Large and Small format printing equipment

· College degree, recent professional development, industry conference participation, or other evidence of continual learning

· Working in Production and operating production equipment

Preferred

· Proficiency in Reprographics equipment and software including Adobe Suite

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience
