Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Production Operations: Manage Contract Manufacturer(s) ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met.
  • Schedule Management: Create and manage production schedules, prioritizing tasks and ensuring production deadlines are met.
  • Quality Control: Implement and monitor Quality Control procedures to maintain high product standards and minimize defects and errors, with both vendors and contract manufacturer(s).
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels at headquarters and contract manufacturer(s) to ensure safety levels are maintained.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with overseas vendors to ensure quality standards are maintained along with timely delivery. 
  • Coordinates manufacturing actions with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production.
  • Product Support: Develop expertise in the installation and maintenance of Company’s flooring products. Provide field support to customers and installers as needed.
  • System Support: Ability to navigate and utilize MRP system. (Purchasing, planning, forecasting, etc)

Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in production management - experience with injection molding a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage a team.
  • Project Management: Strong Organizational and problem solving skills with a keen ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with various teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.
