Location: Asheville Yards, Downtown Asheville

Job Type: Seasonal, Part-Time

Job Summary:

As a Stagehand at Asheville Yards, you'll be a crucial part of the production team, assisting with the setup, teardown, and smooth execution of live events. This hands-on role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with the production crew, artists, and venue staff to ensure each show runs seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load-in & Load-out of sounds, lights, band gear, and rental equipment.
• Support the audio and lighting teams, including running cables, setting up microphones, and handling lighting fixtures.
• Assist with set changes including moving instruments, risers, staging, and backline equipment as directed.
• Communicate important event details between production crew, artists, and management.rnrn
• Keep the stage and backstage areas clean and prepared for the next performance.
• Assist with venue and event operations when required.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-energy environments with tight turnaround times.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to take direction from multiple supervisors.
• Prior experience in stage production and live events, required
• Basic understanding of audio, lighting, and stage equipment preferred.
• Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors, sometimes in varying weather conditions.
